SMI graduates - Issa Urra, Martina Struck, Manny Hartofelis of EcoDeo - are an East Coast based group of Holistic Healers who share how we blend years of personal study and practice in yoga, shaman, vibration and other healing arts with our SMI training.

As we look forward to how our thinking and approach to global concerns might evolve, we envision more events to broaden our reach, deepening the work of this initial offering and develop more programs, as well as creating meaningful and authentic content that can help us build, share, and spread a wider and more vibrant community.

Manny is a practitioner of Yoga and teacher of sound healing and meditation. Manny has always been deeply connected to the sound and good vibrations of music and the way it affects our physical and mental state. His love of music, particularly percussion, led him to study at the New York Open Center under Sylvia Nakkach, which is where he received his sound healing certification.

Martina calls both the US and Switzerland home. Martina is a biochemist with years of experience in regulatory affairs in the pharmaceutical industry. She is a classically trained musician and plays several traditional instruments, including the alphorn with the New Jersey Alphorn Ensemble. Martina is a certified sound healer and graduate of the SMI program at the Open Center.

Issa is based in the US and the Philippines. Issa has been a holistic healer for over 15 years and holds a Masters in Adult Education and Training. She is an artist, storyteller, and creative designer, a certified transpersonal coach, and an ordained interfaith minister. We three are co-hearts and certified sound healers of the same SMI class headed by Silvia Nakkach.

EcoDeo offers monthly gatherings for sound healing practitioners called reSOUND: spreading good vibes to heal.

As well as Support Shares & Power Circles - two-hour sessions of grounding meditation, interactive practice and energy exchange, with sound healing practice and peer feedback.
